Warm-ups

Hi, Chuck here.

These warmup explorations and exercises are designed to call attention to some of your surprising abilities.  We will gradually develop them and integrate them to demonstrate patterns of leverage that many of you may not have been aware of.  These patterns/principles are often applicable in every day life.

There is a special capacity that Quick Sketch is designed to assist in developing.  It's not in any way opposed to our conceptual development.  It is more of a way to enhance all of our abilities in an integrated way so that they not only support each other but leverage each other.  Everyone with the ability to find and make use of this website has highly developed capacities and abilities that they think little of and that are separated into disconnected circuitry so that they are not useful in other areas of their lives.

The ways that we use these capacities are astounding but largely ignored in everyday life.  Exceptions are artists, professional athletes, life coaches and other generally out of the mainstream occupations.  Many of these abilities are traditionally placed in opposition rather than seen as part of the same toolbox.

Remember, we are playing with the seriousness of a two year old child, or a kitten, or a puppy.  Profound Applications may result, but enthusiasm for the simple elements is the foundation for flow and ease of learning.

Be totally forgiving of the efforts of self and others in the Quick Sketch frame of mind.  Stress and worry kills enthusiasm very quickly, sometimes in advance of starting.

I'll keep it useful and minimize confusion during the process.  Enjoy it as it emerges.

Thank You!
